  • What are the values and philosophy of Inherba?

    Exclusive formulations with the best vegetable active ingredients, cosmetic products that take care of daily gestures, always respecting fully nature. The whole business project is based on a very inclusive idea of entrepreneurship, which involves people with fragility and is oriented towards creating a bridge between the Tuscan territory and the product.

  • What is Essenza?

    Cooperativa Essenza is a social cooperative that has decided to create a brand, Inherba. The aim of the project is finding a new way of doing business: through the product and the selling process, we want to build an inclusive community and company. We focus on economic, social and environmental values.

    All stages of cultivation of medicinal plants, extraction of active ingredients, and processing of cosmetics are in fact implemented with the minimum environmental impact, to preserve nature and at the same time nourish it.

    Social cooperation as an entrepreneurial tool: this is the founding principle of the entire project.


  • Where are Inherba products made?

    Inherba offers eco-friendly cosmetic products made in Tuscany, Italy. The short supply chain is one of the founding themes on which the business was developed: essential oils are obtained from the processing of medicinal plants grown by the Calafata cooperative, a social agricultural cooperative, and the processing of cosmetics always takes place in the Tuscan territory where it is based and where the Essenza Cooperative operates.

    Part of all the working phases are structured to create paths of work inclusion and relational growth for people in marginal and disadvantaged conditions.

  • Are Inherba products natural?

    Inherba offers eco-friendly cosmetics made in Italy, with the use of organic, biodynamic and low environmental impact ingredients.

    All products are organic, BIO ECO AIAB certified: they contain natural ingredients and from natural origin, selected on the basis of the specificity of the cosmetic and the sought-after effects.

    Some additives, such as preservatives, are of synthetic origin but are essential for the safety of consumers: others, such as perfumes or some excipients, are essential for the pleasantness of the product. Everything has been studied and formulated to obtain a pleasant and safe product for those who use it, respecting nature.

  • What are the certifications of Inherba products?

    All products are ECO BIO AIAB and QC CERTIFICATIONS certified. These certifications for organic cosmetics are a property of AIAB - the Italian Association for Organic Agriculture - and guarantee the adoption of a production methodology that involves the use of high quality and low environmental impact raw materials.

    Specifically, they promote the use of raw materials from organic farming, the absence of raw materials considered "at risk", or potentially allergenic, irritating or with evidence of probable damage to human health, the absence of raw materials not ecological, both in the product and in the packaging, the use of packaging with low environmental impact. AIAB allows the use of only authorized ingredients.

  • How long can Inherba products be used once opened?

    Each product shows the PAO, "Period after Opening", that is the period of use after opening. This warning is found on all cosmetics that are kept for more than 30 months from the date of production.

    The PAO is symbolized by a number shown inside an open jar. The number refers to the number of months the product can be used after opening.

    For example, if the PAO of a cream shows the number 6, it means that this cream can be used within 6 months.

  • Where can I read the list of ingredients of Inherba products?

    The ingredient list is printed on the back of each bottle or product, with the words INCI (International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredients) which is an international name used to indicate on the label the different ingredients in a cosmetic product.


  • What are the accepted payment methods?

    We accept all payments by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express), PayPal.

  • How to get help with an order?

  • How can I check the status of my order?

    You can check the status of your order by logging into your account and visiting the 'Orders' section. Once the products have been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing shipping details and a tracking number.

  • How long does it take to receive my order?


    Your order will be delivered after 3-5 working days from the date of preparation of the package. Orders received on Saturday and/or Sunday are processed from the following Monday. Deliveries, on the other hand, are made by Poste Italiane/SDA from Monday to Friday, during office hours, excluding national holidays. Delivery times may vary due to major forces, such as weather conditions, courier problems and strikes.


    We are working to open the sale of our products abroad. As soon as possible, we will communicate it on our website and on our social channels.

  • How much is shipping?

    Inherba guarantees a delivery rate of € 7,20 in Italy. For all online purchases made in Italy and over € 40, shipping is free. Shipments abroad are being defined and not yet possible.

  • Which countries do you ship the products to?

    At the moment, we do ship our products to Italy. We will open shipping to the rest of Europe soon.

  • Do you give away products for reviews?

    We do not send products on request: however, free samples are provided for each purchase. Complimentary samples cannot be chosen.


  • What is your return policy?

    We accept returns within 14 days from the date of the goods’ arrival. (The date referred to is the one indicated on the tracking as the delivery date).

    The cost of return shipping is charged to the customer and will not be refunded. If the package containing the return does not arrive, it will not be possible to refund the product.

  • I have received the wrong product.

    If you receive a different product than the one ordered, please report the problem by sending an email to specifying the order number, the name of the desired product and the product actually received. We will contact you to agree on the reimbursement method.

  • I have received a defective product.

    If you find anomalies or defects in the product you have received, please report the problem by sending an email to specifying the type of defect, the lot number and attaching a photo showing the problem. We will contact you as soon as possible to verify and make a refund.

  • My package arrived damaged.

    If your package appears damaged or not intact, contact us promptly by sending an email to
